Just for once I am quite pleased with something I have created - for some reason I am suddenly taken with collage -this is called 'Once Upon A Time' and the inspiration was Fairy Tales, in a grown up sense with a Persian feel. It is done on block canvas, painted black with acrylic paint. I have used decoupage and have sculpted pieces from polymer clay, added pewter charms and 'jewels' and my favourite relief paint in gold, skeleton leaves, the bird is drawn and cut out of some paper with tiny gold crowns printed on it, the heart is also cut paper that I drew the heart shape on. The Persian style stencil trees are my own design and I cut the stencil from acetate , stencilled in antique gold enamel paint. The only problem I have with it is the quality of photograph as no matter what I do I get either poor colour representation or reflected light which produces a sheen. I am putting this one up for sale, will post on a group I belong to and see if anyone likes it enough! Hope you like it

1.  Here's Jades latest projects, she painted a pink metalic square on a canvas and glued some glass beads on it, then she was trying to drissle some lialic paint over it but it came out like blobs so she just made swirls, must need that relief paint to do that!.

2.She did an outline using lilac metalic paint then she glued part of a daffodil leave onto a canvas to make a stem, then she printed leaves and a flower on it and some grass.................Click pics to make big   x

I'm posting this as some may be interested in what Interior Designers actually do -this is a test peice visual of one elevation created for a project entertainment room during my course-this was a project involving everything from electrical plans and lighting to floor plans and technical drawing- I don't work as an interior designer any more as I found it disheartening and difficult. I think that's down to others perceptions of what an interior designer is like, you know flash everything (so not true) but thought you might like to see one part of it -this is hand drawn to scale and I have used soft pastels to colour the paper. It's still drawing so I guess it counts.

I don't think i am artistic, i used to like drawing as a kid,
I bought a nice square bowl for the middle of the dinning table, then i saw a nice figure that i liked so i decided to put it in the middle of the bowl and fill it up with crystals and wee marble things, think it looks alright, what do u think?.................. xClick pic to make big! x

Jade drew this after she saw Wendlane's angel, she has done a drawing and sent it into the local paper and if she wins gets £50 in high street vouchers, so fingers crossed.  Wish i had taken a picture of it cause it was quite good (but i'm byist) It was a of a dolphin leaping out of the water, with the sunset in the background.............Click pic to make big! x

A stained glass effect Celtic Angel painted with glass paints directly onto a piece of acrylic

This is entitled Spirit of A Mermaid -This is along with Angel Heart is what I would describe as painting from the spirit.

A collage, I first painted a small box canvas with acrylics in shades of blues, greens and white, I hand crafted a polymer clay tile and stuck this to the canvas then just freely decorated it with gold relief paint, glass jewels and irredescent varnish.

I kick the group off with my latest artwork, I have seen a return of the muse over the weekend and just completed several pieces after a completely dry period. Mostly collage on canvas...anyway here we are with Angel Heart -this is a mixed media collage -boxed canvas (small) with polymer clay heart, relief paint in silver, the whole canvas painted with different shades of pink in acrylics and purple, completed with an irredescent varnish.
