Hi to everybody...here's another of my colourful ones...LOL...this is of our son and his friends in our garden where we used to live....it's oil on board 40 by 36 inches.

Great big hugs to one and all...

What pigments do you generally use ?

This work looks like gouache ...

It's hot in the centre and cool around the edges...

And there is a negative-photo effect going on...

Very vibrant...

(Are they monkeys sitting on the knees ?)

  Oils...always use oils...they blend better than acrylics I find...Monkeys?? Where?...LOL..there's a cat under the table but now monkeys...they're holding cans of beer...might look like monkeys' heads... It's not easy to see all the details in a small picture....but you can see they're cans in the full size pic...
