Gaia -A Place Of Safety Pastel Painting

Another archive painting -Gaia, a place of safety is done on Ingres paper using soft pastels which are so messy and dusty (not good to breath in but give fantastic blending effects. Ingres paper is expensive but has a texture so the pastel adheres better to the paper. if you haven't used them before it's good fun to experiment.
