What artwork or pictures, photos do you have on your walls? Are they from choice, habit or necessity? If necessity what would you put on your wall if money was no object? I'll try and post some pics of mine later on

I have not personally got any hanging up but a couple in the family requested a triptych for their kitchen wall as it was yellow, and wanted some sun set pictures

'Flower Garden & Bungalow, Bermuda,' 1899 by Winslow Homer. That's on our kitchen dining-nook. I lived in Bermuda for 5 years and it shows the beautiful Harrington Sound, and one of the pretty cottages, that are all painted white & pink.
The other, (was), above our fireplace. I was tired of David's 'Galleon in the Sunset.' So, I got a bargain for $119.00 dollars. A Vetriano, (he is Scottish! not Italian!)
Called 'Elegy for a Dead Admiral.' His wife is sitting at a table on the beach and the wind is blowing all around. Black evening-dress male servants are there. One is pouring her wine for the Admiral's last toast. The other is offering her a rolled-up scroll. She sits in a 'throne-chair' at a table which holds two red roses in a vase. Her lovely hair is swept sideways by the sea winds. Another black-clad man plays the violin, it is obviously sunset and the tide is out. One can see the horizon and the evening sky.
I could gaze at that forever. Sadly, the nails came out of the fireplace wall, so we had to take it down. It is heavy. David has not offered to put it up again, so it remains behind the office door - forever - I suppose.
Alas and alack!!-

I bought my husband a signed Vetriano book of his artwork a while ago, his paintings are now very valuable so look after it, rescue it from it's corner Charlotte

Oh no wendy: this is just a print! I found it at Garden Ridge, which is a huge place full of everything under the sun. I shall look for the book, however. I a sure Amazon have it in stock. I really like his work.
David is so busy making his model airplanes and doing the secretary work for the Fly-club (500 members.) I hate to nag him!!-

Our house is full of pictures - but only a few by me. Mine tend to be kept in books and folders. Which is fine, because I'm always changing my mind about which ones I would like to hang up anyway!

Textured seascapes. Various odd stuff, some interesting mirrors. Nothing of mine but some of my daughters creations!

I have one of Helen's paintings on the wall of my studio where i am now. Looking at it now, I see the glass in the frame is cracked. I wonder when that happened? It's very nice (the painting, not the crack).
